Thanks, it helps a lot:) As you said, I find the configure file in /usr/share/alsa/alsa.conf in ubuntu, and the the line "/usr/share/alsa/pulse.conf" makes the default to be the PulseAudio. If i remove this line, the alsamixer would act as what i expect. 2008/10/21 John Haxby <[EMAIL PROTE
