Is support for this coming soon?
How does using ALSA compare to using drivers developed by the vender
specifically for Windows?
i.e.
Will I not be getting most out of this card (hardware-wise) if I'm not
using the drivers Asus developed, or is the difference negligible?

I've got a Zepto A15 laptop with, I think, an ALC262/Intel-HDA codec
built in, with two 3.5mm jacks labelled as headphone and microphone,
plus integral speakers and supposedly optical SPDIF output. According

I vaguely remember there was a problem with snd-ens1371, and the problem was
introduced by kernel and/or ALSA developers, and then there was an attempt to
apply a patch that would reenable OSS support for the card.
It wasn't me who had the problem, that's why I onlu vaguely remember all this.
