[Alsa-user] Alsa Drivers & X configuration

My laptop is an HP HDX16t. I've tried the model=hp-hdx option, but had no success. (I also tried model=auto, model=hp and no model option) Someone in the list suggested me to update the alsa drivers, but as I did my X server went crazy and had no X at all. Is there a way to set up hp-hdx withou

I suggest the nice Roland/Edirol UA 25 too. I have it and it works very well with alsa. It has a good SNR (not so high to go beyond 16bit anyway) and accurate timing. http://www.baudline.com/solutions/full_duplex/index.html ---
