Wincfg > Audio hangs in opensuse 11.2/gnome. Can I get some help to fix
this here?
I've tried to disable all the pulseaudio, but alsamixer still shows the
card and chip as PulseAudio.
This is a fresh, none updated opensuse11.2/gnome install on a dial-up
system. Kernel is 2.6.31.5-

I tried using softvol because I only have one sound card in my machine but
I'd like to control the volume for several applications running at once.
