[Alsa-user] can't share microphone

Hi folks, I have an application that uses the microphone and I'd like to share the source with other applications, e.g.: arecord. I've tried to modify my .asoundrc using dsnoop as indicated in [1]. The mic keeps working for the application but arecord outputs this error: << arecord: main:608: audio
