Unfortunately, the AWE64 is single-channel. That means it can't play more
than one sound at a time. Your best shot is to try and use something like
ESD which mixes sounds together to simulate multiple channels.
Since you have an AWE64 and are using release 5, could you try something?

When compiling Alsa 0.9.0-RC5, I get a few warnings that say "#Warning:
this driver needs to ported to the new hw_info." I assume it's generated
