Hello List,
i was affected by the same bug. Arthur already found a workaround with
somebody from alsa.
Apperently there is simply a device id missing and Intel Chipset
Specific Workarounds were no applied for this new Intel Chipsets
(H97/Z97)

since my new MB arrived yesterday, i am trying to get sound working
with this Realtek onboard sound chip (ALC1150) driven by the
snd_intel_hda driver.
I get really horrible distorted output on my analog stereo output so
that sound is actually unusable for me. Any help would be
appreciated
