I just FINALLY found out the problem preventing me to use Wine since 4 months !
One of those modules : snd_seq_midi, snd_seq_oss, snd_seq_midi_event and
snd_seq lockup the system immediately after Wine is launched ( even
wineprefixcreate ). No lockup if I remove the modules before launching

I make my Fortissimo IV running by passing the model=ms300 option to the
snd-ice1724 module (
https://bugtrack.alsa-project.org/alsa-bug/view.php?id=1556 ). It works
flawlessly on 44.1khz material, but horribly on 48khz, so *i can't watch movies
for now* :(.. I don't exactly know how to
application - with 44100Hz the symptoms are similar to the ones described
by Elie Morisse.
So, changing sample rate is definitely worth trying.
