Hello, I have extremely low sound volume in my computer. I cannot even listen to some youtube videos from 2-3 meters distance. When restarting to Windows volume is extremely loud!
I'm running Debian stable, kernel 3.2.0-4-amd64 and my soundcard is a VIA VT1708B 8-Ch All volume sliders are set to top in ALSA and pulseaudio as well. As I can see in HD-Audio-Models.txt the option is for VIA VT17xx/VT18xx/VT20xx ======================== auto BIOS setup (default) so I added the option options snd-hda-intel model=auto at the end of the /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf file Again I have no luck. Can u help me?
