it says its a linux alsa driver... but I'm not seeing it in the alsa list of
supported devices.. ?
seems like the project is abandoned.. and not longer compiles with current
kernels.

I'm having success with EMU-1212m v1 card and ADAT
Alesis AI3 using the mecurial drivers on my machine.
I'm using Gentoo (2.6.22-gentoo-r2). I dont use the
Gentoo ALSA drivers, but install them as modules,
after rebuilding the kernel. I specify ALSA in make
menuconfig, as well as the different stuf

I've got the 1212m configured and I'm testing ADAT
support.
I've tried the simple tests, like
speaker-test -c2 -twav -Dfront
and arecord -fdat test.wav
I was able to record with this simple test:
and hear audio out from the main speakers.
When I launch qjackctl and look at "Connect"
