[Alsa-user] isapnp.o won't load

Modprobe stalls on isapnp.o with unresolved symbols such as proc_root_ remove_proc_entry proc_bus create_proc_entry isapnp /etc/isapnp.conf works and detects the soundcard however the alsa pnp is stalling is it to do with my kernel? Correy

[Alsa-user] /dev/dsp No such device es18xx

get /dev/dsp: no such device. When of course /dev/dsp is there it is just that the drivers don't seem to have been able to link it with the soundcard. Does anybody know some troubleshooting techniques with this? Correy --- This SF.N
