when I listened to MP3s (with xmms, but I think there is the problem too with other
apps) the
sound by my rearspeakers was slower than the sound by the fronts. I restarted alsa.
Now it's
ok. But maybe it's a bug with the rate. I only want you know.

I have a cs4624 chip on my 7.1 card. But I can only use the first 4 analog outs. I
think the
third subdevice is for the digital out. With this facts i would think that alsa can't
use the
other four channels, but in alsamixer i have a Center1 and a LFE slide.

speakers. How can I copy the signal to the surround speakers and what should
I do with the center?
