Hello. I am having some trouble with ALSA on an Intrepid Ibex install
that I hope someone can help me with.
First, a little info about my setup. btw, please tell me if you know of
an easier way to do this.
Most of the time my computer is hooked up to two monitors, which is my
work configuration

I used this command:
fuser -v /dev/snd/*
An I got:
USERPID ACCESS COMMAND
/dev/snd/controlC0: val 31395 F mixer_applet2
How can I check if pulseaudio is running at all? I have no use for
pulseaudio (I use ALSA's dmix instead), so if there is a way for me
