Hi List! I bought a Hercules Fortissimo II with cs4624 chip and I'm
trying to configure it to play in the best way. Sound is distorted even
if I mantain low volumes. I have the 1.0.0rc1 dalsa driver installed.
The same problem appears with my on board via8235 chip, and this is the
reason why I bought this card. Any help? Is this a problem about ac97
codec as someone suggested me for via chip ( problem that I did not
resolve! ) or what? I only tested front speakers and head phones. Head
phones do not work..
