I decided to reinstall my OS yesterday ( a long story, but it wasn't due
to hardware, so I don't think that it is fired is the reason).
All seems to be working, except audio.
I have maudio audiophile 2496 card, Mandriva 2007, alsa 1.0.12.
In /etc I have the following files:
