[Alsa-user] HDA silent on e8110 laptop

Hi , I have tried 2.6.16.12, 2.6.16.16 and 2.6.17-rc4 on a fujitsu siemens e8110 laptop and while sound hardare appears to be detected and sounds programs work, there is no actual sound coming out of the speakers. Passing model=fujitsu and basic to the module did not help.lspci outp
