Hi, thanks for your reply, you're giving me hopes :-) But, sadly, my alsamixer doesn't show that switch. I'm using Debian unstable, I have alsa 1.0.16. At least that's what I think, from what dpkg -l | grep alsa shows. I have: alsa-base 1.0.16-1.1 alsa-utils 1.0.16-1 And /proc/asound/version
