Hi! The problem is unfortunitely known. In alsa 1.0.12, or so, the removed support for the ak4xxx (ipga analog volume). This means, you might be abel to record, but volume is too low. There was a thread on alsa-devel about that. So best solution for you is: stay with kernel 2.6.17 or try to
