Is there a way to compile alsa drivers 1.0.14 in 2.6.24 ?

/tmp/alsa-driver-1.0.14/acore/Makefile. Fix it to use EXTRA_CFLAGS.

Hi guys, i have updated my kernel from 21.7 to 24.1 but master volume
was not working. So i updated alsa driver/lib/tools to 1.0.16 but it
still doesn`t work.
I am running ubuntu gutsy kernel 2.6.24 [compiled by myself] on a HP
Pavillion DV8230us
Any suggestion ?
