Hello people,

i am having problems with compiling the alsa driver package on Red Hat 9 for my Enoniq 
ES1869 soundcard.

I ran configure with the following options:

./configure --with-cards=es18xx --with-sequencer=yes --with-kernel=/usr

The configure goed OK, but it complains about the fact that RedHat kernel was compiled 
with another compiler then is used to compile alsa.

So, I type make, and it runs for a while with a lot of warnings, then it stops with an 
error message:
