Uun my last post I forgot ot mention that during the
installation when I ran chmod a+rw /dev/dsp /dev/mixer /dev/sequencer
/dev/midi
Igot error message: chmod: failed to get attributes of `/dev/midi': No such file or directory
Also dmesg doe snot seem to give me the error messages as before the new things are:
intel8x0: clocking to 48000
But still when I try to run sound card detection and try to play test sound nothing is played.
If you downloaded Alsa-0.9.5 then try 0.9.4.
