I recently installed Alsa for my Audigy (I'm running Gentoo 1.4_rc1 on a dual AMD MP system, for those curious), but I couldn't seem to get rear speakers working (analog outputs on the back of the card). I noticed in an old forum post that the support was broken. Is it still? If not, what volume control is the one that controls rear speaker volume?
Also, it seemed rather buggy. Sometimes when tweaking the volume levels in alsamixer, the right channel would all of a sudden cut out. Is this an alsa audigy issue or maybe a Gentoo issue? Thanks!
