Hi,

I've already installed alsa-driver 0.5.12 (including alsa-libs) on my
Redhat 7.2 and VIA8233 onboard soundcard . Now I want to install the
0.9.1 driver, but I don't know how to uninstall the previous one. Do I
need to do it first or I can directly install the new driver without
uninstall the previous one. If I should uninstall the previous one, how
is the procedure (I mean what files I should remove and what
configuration files I should edit)? Is there anyone can help me?

Thanks.
