Finally Gamix gave me the solution with the feature auto unmute :) Thanks to Bill Allen, the first one to told me to use gamix to find out what's going on with my config and thanks to everybody else. I definitly like those mailing lists. Always a good place to find some precious help. thanks aga

Thanks for the tip with alsamixer (as you said it's much better to see what you are doing) but doesn't change my problem. I just unmuted every channel without any result. Perhaps should I try with gamix as Bill Allen on the mailing list suggested me, but I'm not sure that change anything to my pro
