I've installed alsa successfully a couple of times, but this latest time, I have a problem that I can't track down. Any help would be most appreciated. This is a Debian testing system. The kernel is (hand-compiled) 2.4.23 with the ck1 patches for increased responsiveness. The sound card is a Turt
