hi all, i got my hammerfall dsp multiface with pcmcia interface today, spent the whole day compiling various versions of alsa and reading dieb13's wonderful howto ...
the problem for me seems to be the firmware revision (although dmesg complains that it can't allocate some memory) the alsa driver seems to work only with revision 10 ... is there something, i'm missing (problem solved or a workaround) ... i don't know when i'll be able to access a windows notebook, so i'd be interested in any help to get the hammerfall working without a firmware downgrade ... the most recent alsa version i tried was 1.0.0rc2 (kernel 2.4.22-ck3, genoo linux) thanks a lot...
