Greetings, I have recently bought a Shuttle SN41G2 with an onboard i810 chipset. I'm running a SuSE 9.0, and replaced the default OSS driver with ALSA 1.0.1. I redirected all my sound output through the SPDIF interface using /etc/asound.conf : pcm.nforce-hw { type hw card 0 } pcm.
