- get the cvs alsa-kernel and alsa-driver tree as written in the
download page
- apply the patch on the top alsa-kernel directory
% patch -p1 < the-patch-file
- install the correct linux kernel source tree
- run cvscompile script on alsa-driver directory
- install it via "make install-modules"
for details, check alsa-driver/INSTALL file.
