I have an MAudio Deltio DiO 2496 sound card that I'm trying to use for simple playback and I can't seem to get to the end of my problems. OSS emulation playback has pops / clicks. And I'm unable to get native ALSA to work in some programs.
Is there any way to turn debugging on in the drivers? Whenever the software tries to initialize the sound card w/ the snd_pcm_hw_params the error "Invalid argument" Is returned....I have to admit that's very difficult to troubleshoot. I'd like to be able to see which parameter is failing so that I can either make changes to the software or perhaps create some .asoundrc that will fix the problem.
