All,
I'm still having problems with the maudio dio 2496. Has anyone been
successful getting this card to work using native ALSA with the S/PDIF Optical
outputs? I've tried many different things, but am unable to do this
successfully. I'm trying to output to a stereo amp and do various things
including playing a DVD via xine. Whenever I specify to use the alsa audio
driver, I get no sound. I do see that something is happening b/c the amp has a
LED that blinks showing something is happening on the optical interface.
I've tried using other applications as well specifying hw:0,0 and plughw:0,0
also with no luck. I am not using any special .asoundrc file....
In some cases I've seen errors saying something like "sample rate not
supported." but I'm not quite sure what to do about that. Xine doesn't give
that error though, it just happily runs w/o any sound.
Any help would be appreciated.
