Yes; _software_ mixing is independent of the capabilities of the
hardware.
Put the following in your ~/.asoundrc file:

i tried a bunch of stuff to try and get teamspeak to work in conjunction with
Q3 but no go
im pretty sure the hardware supports it if i remember right from using it
under windows
