Hi,
/home/pam is NFS mounted elsewhere and root was not allowed
access. Giving root access fixed the problem. Thanks.
Now, I'm trying to amrecover what was backed up on Medusa from Medusa and
am getting

I corrected the ~amanda .amandahosts access issue by changing amandas
default home dir.
I still get access Errors on the partitions for my newly
added clients. I have tried using both hdg1 and /dev/hdg1 in the disk
list.

Hi everybody:
I posted few days ago a question (big one), but I have not received any answer so I don't know if I was clear or not (my english) so I am trying to understand my problem by myself. but anyway I need to ask you something to verify that everything is ok with my configuration. I have

I've been struggling trying to get Amanda running on a FreeBSD 4.3-STABLE

Well this look like a problem inside each client now, not a problem
between server and client.

I'm thinking it is becuase you don't have cleanslot and autocleancount
set to something. I just set mine to cleanslot=0 and
autocleancount=99 as I do not use the autoclean feature myself. All
the variable cleanslot is doing is asking where the tape might be located.
