If my tapelist consists of 20 tapes will it rotate the index files after every rotation? I am currently using 2 sets of 20 tapes, that are labeled the same Tape-1 through Tape-20. Once I reach Tape-20 on the first set I rotate the entire set and replace with the other set's Tape-1. The tape set i

Disable DNS-lookup for DLE

Is it possible to make amanda avoid doing hostname lookups for specific DLE's while still doing it for other (more important) DLE's? I have a server on a reserved ip that is not in the DNS. With some fiddling with /etc/hosts, /etc/host.conf, route add -host ... and /etc/resolv.conf i have managed

Amrecover add recursively

What would be the syntax of adding an entire directory structure to be included in the restore list? I can't seem to get it working for an entire directory, subdirectories and files in them. Being a huge directory structure I don't want to have to manually traverse each directory. Thanks, Shawn
