This seems strange since it is the first tape I try to label and therefore
there is no tapelist file and there should not be

Hi,
I have searched the archive, but haven't found the
info I require.
I was wandering how to set up incremental backups in
Amanda (I have been able to do full backups already)
e.g. I want 80GB of data to be incrementally backed up every weekday,
what will be the parameters in amanda.conf

Don't fear the steps you have to take.
I assume you try to install and setup the most recent AMANDA-release
2.4.4p2. This should take most of the standard-issues off your
shoulders.

Have you gone to the adaptec site and updated the firmware for the
39160? We had to do that here before it worked, but haven't had a
problem since. Likewise our initial symptoms were failure to operate a
Scorpion DDS drive.

Is there any provision in the DLE format to include pre and post run

Hi,
I've recently seen Amanda fail to write a dump to tape fully (write
error), but I wasn't prompted to run amflush to flush the remaining
files to tape, I usually am when there is data in the holding disk.
I'm not sure how this could happen, and this dump had several special
conditions.
