I'm trying to compile amand 2.5.0p2 on Solaris 10 -
Here's what I'm doing -
I'm running configure with the following options:
./configure --prefix=/usr/local/amanda
--with-configdir=/usr/local/amanda/configs --with-index-server=backup
--with-user=amanda --with-config=Daily --with- tape-server=h

documents on how to set up a window machine to be backed up by Amanda.
Not being a window type guy I am trying to understand what the "SYSTEM"

now I've acquired four windows 2003 machines that I'd like
to back up with Samba. Does someone on the list have
experience with this?

a linux amanda server; there seems to be trouble interpreting
