Thanks for the reply. No the DLE is not on a physically separate disk. This particular server is a straight raid 1 mirror with all the partitions I backup (/, /var, /tmp, /usr) all on that single mirror. The only one that is failing is /usr. I'm having a hard time wrapping my brain around why
