How are you getting amanda to use two tapes? We've been trying to do that for weeks and it fails.

How are you getting more than one tape to be used? I set runtapes to 2 and the second tape is loaded but the write fails.

I started a dump of all disks to tape last night. Runtapes is set to 2.
Filesystems dumped to the first tape just fine, then the changer loaded up
the second one. But, as far as I can tell
