There are many moderated lists, but most of them are very low traffic

tell the amanda client to bind to the .19 address, instead of the primary
address (.31).
I've not come up with a way to do this yet.

the amanda client be configured to reply from a specific
IP instead of letting the OS choose? (OS is freebsd here.)
I'm going to give the increased timeout times a shot on the other server
(bento) and see how that goes.
