mp all the time (even when it thinks it is
doing a level 1 as best I can tell).
Any one have any ideas of things to check? This is causing my backups
to have problems nightly as my DDS-4 isn't big enough for a full of all
shares (plus by unix/linux backups each night).

another) and then ftp the recovered files to windows? I haven't seen
any mention of an amanda client for windows. Right?

Can I use the C$ share for the entire drive/partition? Any hints from
someone backing up windows systems would be most appreciated. Some of
the windows boxes I'm trying to backup have public IPs so I would like
to have as much security as possible.
