dumb question - all binaries, /usr/local/libexec/* /usr/local/sbin/*
are local to the machine ? There is no worry about NFS mounts
everyone that have helped me, especially Brain and Paul.

entry in /etc/inetd.conf, beyond that you also have
receiving message: timeout
