another problem with my backup with debian testing as a client was tar
1.16.
In this new version tar exits with error code 1 (TAR_FILECHANGED) if any
file changed during backup. In tar 1.15 it only exited with error code 2
if a file was truncated d

Hi,
at a customer I recently switched from tape backup to file device backup
due to a tape drive failure. Now, after the real tape drive is back
again, I'd like to tape the harddisk content to tape.

I just downloaded amanda-2.4.4p1 and installedit, but after testing this
shiny new amanda I still got the same old problem with amanda and the
amanda changer. Here is what I've done:
amanda.conf
tpchanger "chg-multi"
amrecover_changer "chg-mul
