Does anyone know whether it is possible to have an exclude list when
backing up WinNT drives?
Thanks,

strings' or to a
file and use 'strings file' to check it. If you get a readable amanda
header, then you have the same problem I have. One of these days I'll
try to track it down.

Hi,
the problem seems to be solved, everything works fine now, after
creating /etc/amandates and making it read- and writable for amanda.

Not much, just this:
sendsize: debug 1 pid 7788 ruid 26 euid 26 start time Tue Jan 23
15:45:21 2001
/usr/loca
the same messages (including amidxtaped.debug) whether
amrecover is preceeded by 'mt rewind' or 'mt fsf'. Seems to make no
difference. Many people have said amrecover doesn't rewind, but the
tape drive sure sounds like it

Hi,
I'm trying to install Amanda, but having a little trouble patching tar. I'm not
even sure if it's necessary, as the patch is for tar-1.12, and I have version
1.13-17. Maybe the problems described for version 1.12 don't occur with 1.13 ?
