Amandaidx-amrecover I'm having some trouble with amrecover:
When amandaidx is listening on the right port and I run amrecover with the right parameters I get the following error message on the client: amrecover: Error reading line from server: Connection reset by peer. And if I try it again I get this: amrecover: cannot connect to BackupServer: connection refused. The following is happening on the serversida: In /var/log/messages: BackupServer xinetd[970]: warning: can't get client address: Transport endpoint not connected. This prints out 8 times and then: amandaidx service was deactivated because of looping. The amanda debug files says nothing of value. I don't know what to do about this, why should not the server be able to connect to the client? I guess some sort of lookup is done and fails but I don't know what to do. Any information are appreciated.
