Changing DISKLIST entries

Can I change disklist entries in the middle of a dump cycle without invalidating information? Basically, I want to *remove* some disklist entries from the disklist file. I have a few directories that aren't needed and the last time (which was the first time) I did an amdump it filled up the disk.
