Greg and Dustin
Thanks you for your advices.
I see that I must learn about IPv6 in this time.
But please allow to ask next question about IPv6.
I want to use Windows XP SP2 as Amanda Client on IPv6.
I know the next URL.

Hi Eric,
Thanks for your reply, your advice helped me.
My mistake was that I didn't know about IPv6.
I understood this problem to install the telnetd.
I mean, I had to specify the NIC Interface if i use the link-local address.
like this:
OK: $telnet fe80::215:c5ff:fe77:8c47%eth0
NG:
There are reason to use link local addresses for some uses, but amanda
doesn't seem to fit those cases. I would suggest testing with global
addresses (use 6to4 if you don't have any).

Fedora Core release 6 (Zod)
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]$ amadmin xx version
build: VERSION=Amanda-2.5.2p1
}}}
I want to use the IPv6 with the Amanda, so now i test on only

Hello,
I have a simple question: does amanda support dumping/restoring over IPv6?
I have a server behind a NATbox that I need to backup periodically. IPv6 would
be the neat solution. Otherwise, are there IPv4 solutions?
I read somewhere about iptables having a module for amanda. How does it
