I am using Amanda 2.4.1p1 on Solaris 2.6. Now I want to
upgrade my OS to Solaris 7. Do I need to reinstall Amanda, can you suggest
something.

Since amanda has been considerably improved in the years since
2.4.1p1, I'd certainly r
Don't do it. Skip Solaris 7 completely. Even Sun has admitted that Solaris 8
is a fully patched Solaris 7. Now that Solaris 9 (09/02) is available,
Solaris 8 should be the minimum installation.
We are running amanda 2.4.2p2 under Solaris 8.
