Hi amanda users, I'm running a Solaris 10 sparc system with amanda 2.6.1. The server only has itself as a client.
We have been running fairly well but have noticed that the level 1 dumps are virtually identical in size to the level 0 dumps. These dumps are gtar using zfs snapshots and the result doesn't make much sense. I'd understand if we where updating database files in place (Oracle or LNotes) but these are just numerous relatively small files on samba shares. Could we be missing something in our config that allows tracking of levels, or could samba be inaproriately updating time stamps on files ? thanks for your input, Brian --- Brian R Cuttler brian.cutt...@wadsworth.org Computer Systems Support (v) 518 486-1697 Wadsworth Center (f) 518 473-6384 NYS Department of Health Help Desk 518 473-0773 IMPORTANT NOTICE: This e-mail and any attachments may contain confidential or sensitive information which is, or may be, legally privileged or otherwise protected by law from further disclosure.
