How to verify how much data backed up? Is there anyway
we can figure out from the amdump.1 log file.
Please clarify this doubt.

How to verify how much data backed up? Is there anyway
we can figure out from the amdump.1 log file.
The report that is emailed to you will tell you how much data was
dumped (before and after compression) and how much was saved to tape.
This is in the summary part of the report.
