Hi there, We have just acquired an LTO3 Ultrium drive but we still have a tape robot with AIT tape drive.
I am wondering if there is a way to use the AIT drive together with the LTO drive in some useful fashion. I doubt that RAIT would work as the capacity of the tapes is so different, but I'm curious if there is a way to store some kind of error correction/parity data on the AIT tapes? Thanks!
