Thanks Brian,
Okay, kind of following your advise I increase the timeout in amavisd.conf
to 20 for the ldap_enable section. This had no effect.
I have verified with ldapsearch that uid=admin can access the details using
those supplied in the amavisd.conf from the server running amavis.

to ALLOW encrypted ZIPs, do I need, from amavis-conf-sample this stuff:

Hi,
I'm still having problems with my crap_lovers...
how can I test/debug this ?
I have like:
/etc/amavisd.conf

$virus_quarantine_to = 'infected@'; # fwd to MTA for delivery
@virus_lovers_maps = (
read_hash("/var/amavis/virus_lovers"),

Upgrade your Perl. The 5.8.0 had several issues regarding taint checks.

Not at the moment. Actually, I was a bit shocked to see how much my

Does no one else have any suggestions on how to reduce memory usage, or
how to debug why Spamassassin seems to be gulping so much ram?
Thanks

Hi
I've upgarded amavisd to 2.3.1 and have problem with razor2
Here is a debug from
su amavis -c 'spamassassin -D -r < /tmp/mybox'
debug: Razor2: spam report, response is "1".
debug: leaving helper-app run mode
debug: SpamAssassin: spam reported to Razor.
1 message(s) examined.

After the mail body (DATA) has been transmitted fully
from amavisd back to Postfix, the data transfer is

Hi!
I'm using amavisd-new with postfix. I need to bypass amavis based on sender
address/domain.. What's the best way to do this?
If I understand correctly, amavisd-new does not support this?
I need to bypass scanning when:
a) sender address/domain matches AND recipient address/domain matches.
